Our approach
Combine embedded hardware and software with patient, testable iteration. Build what is useful; describe only what is real.
About / The laboratory
NodeProbe Labs is an independent technology laboratory focused on practical, privacy-conscious tools that connect embedded hardware, software, and real-world experimentation.
Our first major project is CyberTab, a portable platform being developed carefully with security, lawful use, and maintainability in mind.
We believe experimental work can be ambitious and honest at the same time: every unfinished capability should be labeled, every boundary should be clear, and every design choice should serve a purpose.
Combine embedded hardware and software with patient, testable iteration. Build what is useful; describe only what is real.
Design around owner authorization, lawful operation, and clear boundaries—not ambiguous capability claims.
Favor restrained data handling, local control, and thoughtful defaults throughout the project lifecycle.
Share meaningful milestones, design decisions, and lessons as the work progresses—without inventing progress.
Treat documentation, repairability, and sustainable software choices as part of the engineering work.
Development updates, prototype notes, software progress, and design decisions are collected here as the laboratory moves from experiments toward dependable tools.
